FAQ’s
Joining a new gym can be stressful and leave members with questions. here are some that we see the most.
If you have any other questions, comments, or concerns, always feel free to reach out!
Can I try out the gym before signing up for a membership?
Absolutely, Sandlot offers a free “No Sweat Intro” which includes 3 trial classes. To get your No Sweat Intro, simply sign up through Wodify and make reservations in the class times that you prefer.
Can anyone participate in your workouts?
Yes, both coaches are highly educated with the ability to regress any movements for injuries, special populations (pregnant, arthritic, etc..) while maintaining the programmed stimulus.
What type of training will I be doing?
All members will be doing functional movement training. This type of training will prepare your body for anything you might come across in your life.
I’ve never lifted weights before; can I still participate in classes?
Yes, you can still participate in class times with regressed movements from the coaches. Another option would be to purchase 1-2 months of 1-on-1 personal training sessions to perfect your form with the more complex movements.
If I miss my normal time, can I come to a different class?
Absolutely! Send a direct message to @SandlotDSM on instagram to let them know you’re coming, or just show up!
What if I can only make 1-2 classes per week?
If you aren’t coming to enough classes to justify your membership purchase, you can look under our rates section to purchase a punch-card, which you would pay for per-session. Otherwise, double-check the class calendar and talk to the coaches about how they can help!
Can I still get the workouts if I am out of town or not able to make class?
Workouts are automatically posted to our Workout Of The Day page. In addition, all memberships come with a Wodify account, which allows members to see the workouts from their computers or mobile devices at any point that day. If you have questions about any of the movements, there are instructional videos available on Wodify as well!
